Then I have a couple of things of which to make sure you are aware.

1. You will likely be able to meet that Chi and have all sorts of fun next weekend at the East Bay SPCA Adopt-A-Thon being held at Jack London Square. Oakland Animal Services is one of the more than 35 agencies participating. You can get more info on the events page.

2. If you read my post on OAS, you’ll remember they have a vast network with other organizations to ensure every pup has a fair shot at finding a wonderful forever home. That said, if you would like to meet one of the Chi’s currently available at OAS, act soon because they will be transferring a group of small dogs at the end of July to the midwest where there appears to be a greater demand for these big personalities in small packages.
